Nancy Zellers started exploring the possibilities of beads in the early ‘70s but didn't turn to them full-time until the late ‘90s. Her work has been featured in many magazines and bead books. Nancy publishes in Beadwork, Step-by-Step Beads, and Bead&Button magazines. Her projects are included in Interweave Press’s Beaded Beads, Beaded Bags and Beaded Earrings books. She appears in the Gallery section of books by Chris Prussing and Jeannette Cook and in several books published by Lark Books' including 500 Beaded Objects, The Art of Beaded Beads and Beading with Crystals.

Nancy likes to design beadwork that is deceptively minimalist yet challenging to execute. She especially enjoys teaching beadwork classes and encouraging others to develop their own style of beadwork. Nancy teaches at Bead Expo, Bead & Button, Puget Sound Bead Festival and the Rocky Mountain Bead Society Bead Bazaar in Denver.
